Why do you think we are here?
As spiritual beings, I believe we enthusiastically came here to experience a human existence. We saw this as an incredible opportunity for growth and expansion. We fully participate in this experience by changing our perception of the "so-called reality" we have accepted. It is in this space that we can learn to recognize the opportunities, signs and help surrounding us every day in our journey. 
 
What is an intuitive guide?
An intuitive guide taps into their innate knowing. As an intuitive guide, I rely on my intuition and spirit to tune into the bigger help you create the life you desire. In the process, my goal is to put you in touch with your own intuition and open you up to the expansion and opportunities available to you. The peace and happiness that comes from being open is indescribable. It can help you journey through any of life's challenges with not only acceptance but eventually with appreciation. Everything is seen differently when seen only through loving eyes. 
 
What is an energy healer?
An energy healer facilitates enhancement of the energy flow which supports the self-healing capacity of the body. I am a certified Usui Reiki Master with added training in Reiki for cancer, animals, infertility, pregancy and the newborn. Reiki is a Japanese, energy-based therapy that promotes healing and overall wellness. A reiki practitioner uses his or her hands to transmit energy to the recipient. People use Reiki for relaxation, stress reduction, and symptom relief, in efforts to improve overall health and well-being. It has been used by people with cancer, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, fatigue, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and other health conditions, as well as by people recovering from surgery or experiencing side effects from cancer treatments. Reiki has also been given to people who are dying (and to their families and caregivers) to help impart a sense of peace and also helps with weight loss, bad habits, addictions, and fertility and pregnancy issues.

What is a psychic medium?A psychic medium connects the living with the spirit of those who have departed. Not only is it comforting to know we are still connected, but our loved ones offer new perspectives and help us in current situations. 
 
Do you work with children?
Absolutely! I love working with children and have guided hundreds of them. Children are born open but many shut down to conform to society. I am particularly rewarded when I work with the young to help them keep their inherent connection. I have been coaching children for many years to guide them in embracing, developing and conquering their fear of their own psychic gifts and learning to stand fully in their amazingness. 
 
Why do you pursue this line of work?
First, I must say my work does not feel like work. It feels like excitement. It is my passion...my true calling. I cannot convey the countless rewards I experience. Sometimes it is watching the closure and healing occur in front of me as I connect someone with a loved one who has passed. Then there is the look in a child's eyes when they realize that I see their light and they understand I can help them keep their pure connection. Or maybe it is a person who has a disease and I help them uncover a core belief that no longer works for them and by releasing it, their physical body responds by healing. I am so blessed to watch miracles routinely unfolding. Every day, I receive texts, emails and calls from clients thanking me for changing their lives. Every day, I am honored that my clients invite me into their lives as they have no idea how they change my life as well. 
 
What methods of payments are accepted?
Credit card payments are accepted in person, over the phone and online. Cash payment may be made in person only. No personal checks are accepted. 
 
Are phone or video chat sessions available?
Yes, both phone sessions and Zoom/Skype/Face Time sessions are available and work well for psychic medium readings, energy healing sessions and intuitive guidance sessions.
 
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes I do! Just email Darlene at darlene@thesoulspeaker.com. Gift certificates can be delivered by email or mail. 
 
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel an appointment, please give Darlene as much notice as possible so she can fill your space and reschedule your session. If adequate notice is not given, you may be subject to a cancellation or rescheduling fee. Once payments have been processed, no refunds will be offered although a name change for a paid session will be allowed. In the event Darlene would need to cancel your scheduled session, she will do her best to reschedule your session as soon as possible. If for any reason, she is unable to reschedule your session, advance payment received will be promptly refunded.
